Ever wondered when was the best time to put out your humming bird feeders? Well, Spring 2009 Migration of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds will provide you with the first sitings of humming birds in your area. So take a look and get those feeders ready. I’m filling mine up now :)
Red Shouldered Hawk: This awesome raptor was in my front yard during our little March snow blizzard. My girlfriend and I were able to witness him/her swoop down and catch a crawfish from the nearby ditch. We know this because we checked out the remains after the hawk had dined and left.
